MPLS:
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) can be used to create intelligent networks that support advanced data packet management over a single network while saving money. However, the distance to the local phone company central office where the copper POTS line is connected from the customer premise to the DSLAM will determine the potential speed of the DSL connection.
